THE CHALLENGE
Create a platform for managing a very large number of 3D printers.
MY ROLE
MakerBot Innovation Center Management Software is the result of a long research and development process that began in MakerBot’s very own “BotCave” where hundreds of 3D printers cranked out models for events and partnerships.
Working with facility technicians, operations managers, and manufacturing engineers, I designed solutions that met the needs of business, academic, and other institutional customers. Throughout the development cycle, I worked with technical product managers and junior designers to ensure that specifications were met.
