THE CHALLENGE

Design an app to support the Thingiverse community and bring native functionality to mobile devices.

MY ROLE

Thingiverse Mobile was designed for a highly browsable experience and provide “on the go” functionality. Even with a fully responsive website, there were needs that could best be met with the native functionality of mobile devices.

One key feature of the app allows community members to seamlessly share photos of models they’ve printed with the Thingiverse community. To date, the app has over 49k users and over 100k photos have been shared with the community.

I was responsible for product definition, strategy, and interaction design of the app.
